Abstract

The development of globalization, technology, information and communication has an impact on global character values, thereby forming individuals with new characters as well. The emergence of these new characters is not in accordance with ancestral values ​​and can result in a shift in moral, ethical and moral values ​​in the lives of Indonesian society. Therefore, building character values ​​in Indonesia is the main focus and is very important in shaping and developing the potential of Indonesian citizens, especially in schools. School is an effective forum for forming and developing the character values ​​of students by covering all activities in which character values ​​are found through interaction with the school community. The aim of this research is to find out how the values ​​of character education are implemented in school activities and to find out how effective school activities are for developing the character of school students in order to create a generation that excels not only in academics but also has good moral values ​​such as responsibility, empathy, honesty, and building productive students. The research method is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique used for this research is library research. Meanwhile, the technical data analysis in this research is presenting data and drawing conclusions.
