KURIKULUM PENDIDIKAN PEMIKIRAN IMAM SYAFI’I

Abstract

According to Imam Syafi’i, someone who has knowledge will gain position, horror glory and all the knowledge they have will be useful both in this world and in the hereafter. Knowledge is the best way for someone to get happiness in this world and the hereafter. He emphasized that success in studying would be obtained when a person has intelligence, passion, is serious, sincere in spending money on education, is friendly with educators (both ustadz and teachers) and lastly is a long time. In seeking knowledge not in a short time, we need a long time so that we get maximum knowledge. Someone who is knowledgeable then he will be able to do great things and benefit others. Al-Imām al-Syāfi'ī is a scholar whose ideas almost always been a reference for all disciplines, including education. His thinking in the field of education, especially regarding the elements set forth the educational curriculum. According to the educational curriculum is not only limited to religious sciences course (naqliyah), but also on general knowledge (aqliyah). In addition, he is also a person skilled in designing the curriculum. His expertise in this case, can be used as a reference today by all those involved in education.
