IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN AKIDAH AKHLAK TERHADAP PEMBENTUKAN AKHLAK ISLAMI DI MTs RIYADLATUL ULUM BATANGHARI LAMPUNG TIMUR

Abstract

The problem in this research is to find out about the implementation of faith and morality in shaping Islamic character among 9th-grade students at MTs Riyadlatul Ulum in Batanghari, East Lampung. The supporting and inhibiting factors, as well as the results of the implementation of faith and morality learning in shaping the Islamic character of the students, are also investigated. The researcher used a descriptive qualitative method, involving the presentation of written and oral data from the research subjects at the institution. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis employed Miles and Huberman's techniques, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The research findings conclude that the implementation of the faith and morality subjects in shaping the religious character of 9th-grade students at MTs Riyadlatul Ulum in Batanghari, East Lampung, utilizes exemplary methods and habituation, such as praying before the commencement of learning, congregational prayers, participating in Quranic recitation, instilling commendable morals, and showing respect for teachers and peers. These practices train students to possess Islamic morals that can be applied in their daily lives. However, factors hindering the implementation include insufficient time allocation and the behavior of the students.
