PENGEMBANGAN KURIKULUM RUMPUN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM PEMBENTUKAN NILAI KARAKTER SISWA

Abstract

Curriculum is one of the important tools in education. The curriculum itself is a set of plans and arrangements regarding objectives, content and learning materials, to achieve certain educational goals. Basically, the development of an Islamic education curriculum improves learning plans, teaching material plans, learning strategies for students. The aim of developing the Islamic religious education curriculum is to lead students to be faithful, devout, have noble character, to become superior individuals, to be good individuals, able to analyze advances in science and technology, and also to be able to carry themselves in society, nation and state. Students' character values ​​are of course influenced by the family environment, because the family environment is the main foundation for students in character formation, if in the family environment students are not given a strong foundation in character formation. So in this case, the development of the Islamic Religious Education curriculum has a very important and strategic role in efforts to form students' character values.
