Abstract

Early childhood is a child who has just been born until the age of 6 years. This age is an age that is crucial in the formation of children's character and personality. There are several methods that are usually applied to early childhood, including: playing, telling stories, singing, talking (dialogues with questions and answers), tourism, direct practice, role playing (socio-drama), assignments and other methods considered able to encourage early childhood learning so as to achieve learning goals. None of the learning methods are superior to others. All good methods are in accordance with the objectives to be achieved and the availability of children's learning facilities.
