One of the problems that arises is juvenile delinquency, which is increasing and becoming a threat to the morality of the younger generation. This research aims to explore the important role of Islamic Religious Education in tackling juvenile delinquency. Islamic religious education is considered a moral fortress that can shape the character, morals and behavior of teenagers in accordance with religious teachings. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with literature study to analyze the contribution of PAI in reducing juvenile delinquency. The research results show that PAI plays an important role in forming teenagers' moral awareness, increasing their understanding of religion, and equipping them with values that can prevent deviant behavior. Therefore, cooperation between families, schools and communities is very necessary in creating a young generation with noble character and free from delinquency. It is hoped that the implementation of consistent and comprehensive religious education can be a solution to the problem of juvenile delinquency in Indonesia.
