PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KONTEKSTUAL DALAM PENGUATAN KARAKTER MORAL SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN PAI DI UPTD SD N 1 JOJOG

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the contextual learning model in strengthening students' moral character in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at UPTD SD N 1 Jojog. The contextual learning model is an approach that links subject matter with students' real experiences, so that learning becomes more meaningful and relevant to everyday life. This approach not only emphasizes cognitive aspects, but also affective and psychomotor, so that it can foster reflective attitudes and students' moral awareness. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation.The results of the study indicate that the application of the contextual learning model in PAI subjects at SD N 1 Jojog has been running well and is able to increase students' active participation and internalize Islamic moral values ​​in everyday life. However, there are still several obstacles, such as student dependence on teachers and environmental influences that need to be overcome to maximize the strengthening of moral character. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of the role of teachers as facilitators who connect learning materials with students' contextual situations and collaboration with parents and the surrounding environment in the formation of student character.
