KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL DAN PERGAULAN SOSIAL TIDAK BERPENGARUH SIGNIFIKAN TERHADAP AKHLAK REMAJA

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of emotional intelligence and social interaction on adolescent morality. The research employed a quantitative approach using a correlational design. The population consisted of adolescents in Jabung Village, East Lampung Regency, with 35 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that both emotional intelligence and social interaction do not significantly affect adolescent morality. These results differ from previous studies, likely due to cultural and educational differences in the research area. In Jabung Village, traditional social interaction may not provide sufficient variation to influence changes in adolescent moral behavior.
