STRATEGI DALAM PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER

Abstract

Creating students with character, a very important strategy is needed in education because we see that many students' character is starting to be less well formed and even out of Islamic teachings, such as students lacking discipline, responsibility, self-confidence and other characters that support students to have an attitude that can emulated by the next generation, the formation of student character is a critical aspect of education that plays a central role in forming individuals who are tough, responsible and have moral integrity. Students' character building strategies require a holistic approach that includes cognitive, emotional and social aspects. This research explores various strategies that can be implemented by educators and educational institutions to improve student character formation, especially strategies for internalizing the values ​​of Islamic religious education. This research identified several effective approaches, including the teacher role model approach as a role model, developing a character curriculum, implementing extracurricular activities that support character formation, and using educational technology to support character values. Environmental factors, such as family support and a positive school culture, are also described as important elements in shaping student character. Through an in-depth literature review and concept analysis, this research provides insight into the importance of integrated and sustainable strategies in supporting student character formation. The results of this research can be a basis for educators, policy makers and educational practitioners to develop more effective and comprehensive strategies in guiding students to become individuals with integrity and contribute positively to society.
