ZIARAH WALI SONGO DAN PENDIDIKAN SPIRITUAL SANTRI BUSTANUL ULUM LAMPUNG TENGAH

Abstract

Spiritual education covers all aspects of human life that contain values of faith and devotion to God. Simply put, Islamic boarding schools are places where students study and are also a reference for defending Islamic teachings. Problems often experienced by students are usually related to less solemn worship or it can be said that there is a lack of awareness that spiritually has a very big influence. So with this, then the Bustanul Ulum Islamic boarding school has a program to give birth to the spiritually of students by holding a pilgrimage to the Wali Songo or what is commolony called the term rihlah hasanah. This study will adopt a field research method which will be carried out at the Bustanul Ulum Islamic boarding school using a gualitative descriptive method. The pilgrimage to the Wali Songo it self has the potential to become an Islamic tourism destination. The visit to the Bustanul Ulum Islamic boarding school in this case is carried out outside the territory of the Islamic boarding school and includes a pilgrimage to the tombs of the Wali Songo, scholars and other figures as well as visiting several Islamic boarding schools as a means of strengthening ties
